2015-11-08

• The Smashing lab has been updated from its draft version.

2015-11-07

• Midterm 2 has been rescheduled for November 16 (not 18). The midterm will not cover §12.5–12.8 (synchronization), as this topic is now scheduled for November 18.

2015-10-21

• The deadline for Homework 3 has been extended to Monday.
• The Program Execution Explorer lab has been updated to use only x86-64 instructions.

2015-09-27

• Obtain or renew your SEASnet account right away, as there are occasionally delays before your account is activated.
• Here are suggestions if you're interested in the course but are neither enrolled nor on the waiting list.
  • Read Enrollment in Undergraduate Computer Science Classes and follow its advice.
  • Any PTEs are not typically given out until the end of the second week, to make sure that enough resources are available. You can try coming to classes before then. Sign up on any attendance sheet that is being passed around.
