      - The Project now specifies
	Python 3.9.0 rather than 3.8.2.

      - Homework 2 has been corrected
	by appending a closing parentheses to test1,
	and similarly for test2.

      - Homework 2's introduction has been
	fixed as follows: "The matcher will first 
apply the
	acceptor to the first match the
	prefix ["3";"+";"4"],
	along with the corresponding which corresponds
	to the suffix
	["-"]. If this suffix is accepted, the
	matcher will return whatever the acceptor returns. Otherwise,
	the matcher will apply the acceptor
	to match the second prefix
	["3"], along with the corresponding
	which corresponds to the suffix
	["+";"4";"-"], and will call the acceptor
	with that suffix and return whatever the acceptor
	returns."

    - There will be discussion sections on Friday, October 2,
      even though the first lecture will not have been held yet.
      The discussion topic will be homework and the first homework
      assignment.

    you can, as there are occasionally delays before

       Any PTEs are not typically given out until the end of the second week,
       to make sure that enough resources are available.
       You can try coming to classes before then.
