News for UCLA Computer Science 35L, Spring 2012

• Please make sure that you go to the correct location for your final exam in Computer Science 35L. This will not be the usual classroom: it will be in a different room, as scheduled by the registrar. For sections 1, 2, and 3 the room will be Boelter 5420. For section 4 the room will be Boelter 9436.

• We'll be handing out a CD in the first lab, containing the current Ubuntu desktop x86 release. It'll be helpful (though not essential) to bring a USB drive to the first lab. Experts are welcome to use another recent Linux distribution.
• Assignment 1 and Assignment 10 are available. Please see Assignments for other assignments. These other assignments are tentative and may change before the week they are due.
• Check that your SEASnet account works right away, as there are occasionally delays before your account is activated.
