Here are news items that affect the core assignments and class material.

2013-05-29

• The syllabus has been corrected by fixing a bad date (changing 05-27 to 05-29'; 05-27 was a holiday.

2013-04-03

• The main course page has been updated with links to Piazza and CourseWeb. Please send send all public-to-class discussions and correspondence through Piazza. Please submit all homeworks and assignments through CourseWeb.
• Shopzilla's and Jerrid's presentations have been added to the homework page.
• Ethan's office hours are Wednesdays 09:00–11:00 in Boelter 4659. Jerrid's office hours are Thursdays 13:00–15:00 in Boelter 3803B (in the back).

• We have a Piazza page.
• Obtain or renew your SEASnet Computing Facility account right away, as there are occasionally delays before your account is activated.
• Here is a suggestion if you're interested in the course but are neither enrolled nor on the waiting list.
  • Any PTEs are not typically given out until the end of the second week, to make sure that enough resources are available. You can try coming to classes before then. Sign up on any attendance sheet that is being passed around.
