Here are news items that affect the core assignments and
class material.

The homework's Project section
tentative weights (that "may be appropriate") have been adjusted
to reflect the overall project weight of 30% that is given in
grading.

- The last two Debate days
have been moved to 05-29 and 06-03.

- Debate topics through 05-22 are
available.
- Some URLs in the syllabus have been updated, and
a reading (Newcombe et al 2015) has been added
for 05-20.

The schedule in the syllabus has
been rejuggled a bit, as follows. The midterm has been
delayed from May 1 to May 6.
The debates originally scheduled
for May 6, 8 and 13 have been delayed to May 8, 13, and 15.
The lecture on debugging, refactoring and tuning has been
moved up from May 15 to May 1, so it is now fair game for the
midterm.

to make sure that enough resources are available.
