Laboratory, 4 hours; outside study, 2 hours.

Instructor in charge: Paul Eggert <eggert@cs.ucla.edu>, Boelter 4532J. Office hours are Mondays 12:00–13:00 and Wednesdays 14:00–15:00.

Lab 1 instructor: Hesam Samimi <hesam@cs.ucla.edu>, Boelter 4428. Office hours are Wednesdays and Fridays 12:30–13:30.

Lab 2 instructor: Jeremi Sudol <jeremi@cs.ucla.edu>, Boelter 4428. Office hours are Wednesdays 10:30–12:30.

Lab 3 instructor: Michael Le <mvle@cs.ucla.edu>, Boelter 4428. Office hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:30–11:30.

Lab 4 instructor: Darrell Carbajal <carbajal@cs.ucla.edu>, Boelter 4428. Office hours are Fridays 09:30–11:30.

Prerequisite: Computer Science 31.

Fundamentals of commonly-used software tools and environments, particularly open-source tools likely to be used in upper-division computer science courses.

Enrollment restriction: 28 students maximum per section, due to the size of the room.
