Adnan Darwiche is a professor and former chairman of the computer science department at UCLA.

He holds M.S. (1989) and Ph.D. (1993) degrees in computer science from Stanford University.
Served as Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research (JAIR) and is a AAAI Fellow.

Professor Darwiche directs the Automated Reasoning Group at UCLA.
His research interests span probabilistic and symbolic reasoning, and their applications including machine learning.
