I am a PhD student in Computer Science Department at University of California at Los Angeles, where I am advised by Prof. Glenn Reinman. My research interests lie in Computer Architecture and Customized Computing, especially high-performance, energy-efficient and reliable heterogeneous systems.
I received my BS at Tsinghua University in Electrical Engineering in 2013. I interned at Facebook during the summer of 2017, where I worked with Dr. Aleksey Pershin. I interned at Samsung Semiconductor during the summer of 2016, where I worked with Dr. Stephen Choi and Dr. Yang-seok Ki. I interned at Baidu USA during the summer of 2015, where I worked with Davy Huang and Junwei Bao. I also interned at Carnegie Mellon University during the summer of 2012 under the guidance of Onur Mutlu.

My chinese name is 郝宇辰. I grew up in Beijing, although I am currently pursuing my PhD in Los Angeles, California.
I am a photography enthusiast and an avid fan of design and visualization. Selected works of mine can be found on my Instagram or here. I created an interactive visualization tool of a co-author graph in the field of Computer Architecture, which helps young scholars learn about the field.
I also starred in a campus movie, in which students regain faith and courage to live their dreams after a taste of bitterness and depression. Link to the movie on Youtube.
