Prabhanjan Ananth

I am a fourth year Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at University of California, Los Angeles. I am primarily supervised by Prof. Amit Sahai. I also work with Prof. Rafail Ostrovsky. I am supported by Simons Award for Graduate Students in Theoretical Computer Science, 2015 - 2017. I am the recipient of Symantec Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award for the year 2015-2016.

I spent the summer of 2015 at Simons Institute, UC berkeley, summer of 2014 working with Prof. Vinod Vaikuntanathan at CSAIL, MIT and the summer of 2013 working with Prof. Alon Rosen at IDC, Herzliya . Before that, I was a Research Assistant in MSR India working with Dr. Vipul Goyal. Prior to that, I did my Masters in the Department of Computer Science and Automation at Indian Institute of Science under Prof. Ambedkar Dukkipati. My thesis was awarded Dr. M. N. S. Swamy Gold Medal for Best M.Sc. (Engg) thesis.

Research Interests : Cryptography, and more broadly theoretical computer science.
