Multi-view Object Tracking
  • Proposed a novel hierarchical composition approach using an iterative greedy pursuit algorithm.
  • Proposed to leverage human semantic attributes into the tracking framework.

  • Proposed a novel framework by jointly detecting people commonness and person uniqueness.
Person Re-identification
  • Proposed an improved person compositional template based on And-Or Graph and clustering person appearance patches.
  • Designed and implemented a general framework for stochastic inference on graphical models.

  • Proposed a graph labeling formulation for person re-identification, solved by matching compositional template with cluster sampling.
Object Tracking
  • Proposed a bi-layer spatio-temporal grouping framework for multi-object tracking, solved by graph labeling with robust belief propagation.
  • Developed an online learning schema on Composite Patch-based Templates (CPT) for object-of-interest tracking.
Background Modeling
  • Proposed a novel background modeling method based on learning dynamic texture models within spatio-temporal video patches.
