Hi! I am a third year Ph.D. student at Department of Computer Science in University of California, Los Angeles. I am co-advised by Prof. Guy Van den Broeck and Prof. Todd Millstein. My research interests lie at the intersection of probabilistic aspects of artificial intelligence and formal methods. Recently, my work has been focused upon designing better inference algorithm for hybrid probabilistic programs. For future research, I am interested in using probability to broaden the applications of existing systems and use techniques from formal methods to improve probabilistic reasoning.

I completed my undergraduate studies in computer science and engineering at IIT Delhi. For my B.Tech. project, I worked on neuro-symbolic architecture for image manipualtion with Prof. Parag Singla in collaboration with Dr. Dinesh Garg from IBM Research India. I have also had research experience at IIT Delhi with Prof. Rijurekha Sen, at McGill University with Prof. Louigi Addario Berry, at AI for Social Good in Google Research India. I completed a semester as part of my exchange studies at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden.

I love traveling, writing poems and socializing.
