FOCUS - BPC Community Meeting

Date: January 31 - February 2, 2010
Rick Ainsworth, Alfonso Cardenas, David Smallberg, Ruby Vargas Lainez, Marc Levis, David Kasch, Alice Ho and Shannon Toma attended the National Science Foundation meeting in Marina del Rey, Ca., of Principal and Co-Principal Investigators and project evaluators in the Broadening Participation in Computing program. We shared experiences of the UCLA FOCUS program with other participants. Alfonso chaired a session in which invited speakers highlighted experiences gained with demonstration project . The evaluation team of Marc Levis, David Kasch, and Alice Ho led a session on evaluation results of various projects, and presented the FOCUS initial evaluation results.
