  1. Combinatorics - Create Graphics, Support and Critique My Text Files. ("Some Theorems About Counting," pp. 84, 85, Polyominoes by S. Golomb.) Large Numbers already have some coverage but Combinatorics has just an initial draft..

  2. Mathematics for Computing - Support Course Development. Create Materials Oriented To Life Science Majors.

  3. Survey Students of Computer Science - Design Curriculum 2005. See ACM Model Curriculum

  4. Review Course Improvement (NSF Soliciation). Report your recommendations for a new Information Technology or Computer Science curriculum.

  5. See above URL. Report your recommendation for an open ended Mathematics for Computing set of materials. See Factorial, Exponential Notations.

  6. See URL in 3. Report your recommendation for a set of materials to enable other instructors to teach Computer Science Design Project. Comment on utility of Course Reader elements for that purpose.

  7. Create new utilities and data organization modalities to assist non-sighted individuals in working with the internet. There are many significant research and development issues here. Computers and network communication have opened doors for a community previously hindered by their inability to see. Yet the community needs better tools going beyond what is now available. Consider the general goal of making information available to the non-sighted. Review the following and propose a design/development approach for this community. Dr. Sam Genensky, founder of the Center for the Partially Sighted, contributed the following suggested starting points (he can be reached at <harpoons@ucla.edu>:)

    3. HJ Jaws Screen Reader - http://www.freedomscientific.com/fs_products/software_jaws.asp,
[Jaws for Windows Overview - "The most popular screen reader worldwide, ... works with your PC to provide access to today's software applications and the Internet. With its internal software speech synthesizer and the computer's sound card, information from the screen is read aloud, providing technology to access a wide variety of information, education and job related applications. JAWS also outputs to refreshable Braille displays, providing unmatched Braille support of any screen reader on the market. ... training tutorial ... included."]

  8. Use the cross-word puzzle creating Utility and listed Math Words . Build a set of puzzles that represent different levels of mathematical sophistication: introductory, beginning skills, intermediate, and advanced knowlege.

  9. Create visual materials like the two files Count Octal and Animated Triangles keyed to listed Math Words .
