Hello! I am Shanmu, a second-year Ph.D student in Computer Science at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA),
supervised by Professor Omid Abari.
Previously, I earned my Master's degree in Computer Science from UCLA (2024) and my Bachelor's degree in Information Engineering from
Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) (2023), where I work with Professor Dongyao Chen.
I build wireless sensing systems that integrate advanced signal processing and machine learning algorithms to deliver practical solutions for real-world applications. My research focuses on developing cyber-physical systems for smart cities, homes, and daily life through multimodal sensing technologies. I leverage expertise in radar systems, acoustic sensing, self-supervised learning, embedded programming, HCI, and hardware prototyping to create impactful sensing solutions.
