Yuyue Wang (王余越) works on computer systems and architecture, with a focus on exploiting emerging hardware (such as CXL and computational storage) to boost the performance of storage systems and near-data processing. His earlier work explored domain-specific accelerator design.
He is a PhD student at UCLA advised by Prof. Glenn Reinman, and works closely with Prof. Huaicheng Li at Virginia Tech and Prof. Jie Zhang at Peking University. He received his B.S. from Peking University in 2021, where he was advised by Prof. Yun (Eric) Liang, and in summer 2020 he was a remote intern with Prof. Boris Grot at the University of Edinburgh.
